The getFuturesExpiration API provides first notice and last trade dates for futures contracts.

Pricing is based on the number of monthly queries and fields requested. We offer four packages: Small, Medium, Large, Enterprise. Contact us for additional details.


API Documentation

INPUTS:

roots (optional)
A symbol or code that identifies a futures root. (list)
Example: ZC,ZS

contracts (optional)
A symbol or code that identifies a futures contract. (list)
Example: ZCN14,ZCU14


OUTPUTS:

symbol (always returned)
A symbol or code that identifies the futures contract. (string)
exchange (always returned)
The name of the exchange the instrument belongs to. (string)
contract (always returned)
The expiration month and year of the futures contract. (string)
firstNoticeDate (always returned)
The first notice date of the futures contract. (date)
expirationDate (always returned)
The expiration date. (date)
lastTradingDay (always returned)
The last trade day of the futures contract. (string)

STATUS CODE RESPONSES:

200 OK Success
400 Bad Request The request was invalid, please see the message for more information.
500 Internal Server Error Something is not working correctly, please contact support.
